A million thanks to Cassiopeia Books in Great Falls, Montana, which hosted a reading on September 4 from My Father Before Me—featuring the chapters about Great Falls, of course.

Also thanks to my many Montana television news friends from my first career, in the early eighties, who reunited in Great Falls that weekend. Seen here—strangely enough—is the KFBB-TV news team of 1984-85, back in the studio: Co-anchors Catherine Butler and Chris Forhan along with sports anchor Tim Hunt. I hadn't seen these good people since 1985.
